As the global pandemic continues to change the way in which business is conducted, the events industry has adapted by holding conferences online - and Gencoa will participate at two upcoming events that are traditionally held in the US.
From May 3-7, the Society of Vacuum Coaters (SVC) will hold the annual TechCon as a virtual event, with a series of recorded talks being presented by Gencoa staff.

Gencoa are also among the sponsors of the 15th staging of the SVC Foundation's 5k run/walk, which aims to raise funds to benefit Academic and Industrial Scholarship Funds. As with the conference, this year's run is being held as a virtual event, with participants invited to set their own route between May 1st and May 15th. Originally scheduled to be held in San Diego, this year's International Conference on Metallurgical Coatings and Thin Films (ICMCTF) will be held as a virtual event next week, and the virtual conference will include two presentations from Gencoa R&D Manager Victor Bellido-Gonzalez.
Victor's presentations will both be available on-demand from Monday April 26, and will cover the topics detailed below:
