HIQA to review of governance arrangements for population-based health screening

Governance and Quality Assurance graphic

HIQA has announced that it will carry out a review of how population-based screening services are governed in Ireland. Independent oversight is a key part of delivering safe, effective, high-quality screening, and we welcome the review as an opportunity to show the work we do every day to maintain strong standards and person-centred care - and to highlight where we can keep improving. This review will help us continue to learn, improve, and deliver better outcomes for the people who rely on our services.
