As I  wrap-up my time with NACY, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation for the entirety of the NACY Network and the journey we have shared together. Serving as the leader of this incredible organization has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. Over the last five years, we have seen the network grow, both in size and impact, navigated a global pandemic, hosted our first conference, broke down silo’s, brought people together and worked together to build a stronger, more coordinated sector. Led by the voices of the sector we launched new programs, developed policies, hosted workshops and made space to learn together accomplices in our mission to provide young people with not only the most opportunities, but the best. NACY success is a testament to your unwavering support, commitment and passion to our collective vision; a Canada where all young people can thrive. Thank You to the NACY Board for incredible support and a special thank you to Deborah Morrison and Sharif Mahdy who put their trust in me from day one to bring the vision of NACY to life. I will be forever grateful.

-Laura Kathler, Executive Director
