Scholarship Christmas OrnamentCelebrate Christmas while you support kids attending Connect Camp. Last year, six kids received Christ at our day camp at Belle Aire. The drawing of our church is by our own Caleb Schooley, who is in 5th grade. Caleb attended Connect Camp last summer. All of the proceeds from the ornaments will go to scholarships. Sunday Lessons for December: - Sunday, November 25 - MOSES PARTED THE RED SEA - The Israelites faced certain death, but God miraculously made a way for them to be saved by parting the Red Sea. We are all sinners and face certain death for our sin, but God miraculously made the way for us to be saved by sending Jesus to die in our place for our sin and rise again.
- Sunday, December 1 - GOD PROVIDED FOR HIS
PEOPLE - The people complained against Moses and against God, but God still chose to give them the food and water they needed. We are all sinners and are enemies of God, but Christ still chose to die for us so that we might be saved.
- Sunday, December 8 - MOSES LED THE ISRAELITES - Moses was a great leader, but he was just a man. He was not able to meet all the needs of all the people by himself. Jesus is fully man and fully God. He is able to hear and respond to all of our prayers, and His death and resurrection provides salvation to everyone who trusts in Him.
- Sunday, December 15 -THE TEN
COMMANDMENTS - God gave His people commandments so they would know how to honor Him and live rightly. Because of sin, no one is able to keep these commandments perfectly. God sent His Son, Jesus, to live a perfect, sinless life. Jesus died and rose again so that sinners can be forgiven.
- Sunday, December 22 - JESUS IS OUR GREATEST GIFT -
The birth of Jesus was good news! Jesus was not an ordinary baby. He is God’s Son, sent to earth from heaven. Jesus, the promised Savior, came into the world to show us what God is like and to deliver us from sin and death.
