The mission of Student National Pharmaceutical Association is to coordinate programs geared toward the improvement of the health, educational, and social environment of minority communities. We are an educational service association of pharmacy students who are concerned about the profession of pharmacy, healthcare issues, and the poor minority representation in these areas. The executive board of the Saint Joseph's University ISPOR is responsible for organizing events, activities, and initiatives that promote the understanding and application of pharmacoeconomics and outcomes research among students. There are nine open positions including President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and more. All applications are due by May 3rd and the results will be announced the week of May 8th. We are looking for committed and enthusiastic members to join the executive board and help us achieve our goals for the 2023-2024 academic year! The following positions are open: Event planner, SGA representative/Event Coordinator, and PCP representative. If you are interested in one of the positions listed, please submit THIS FORM by Friday, April 28th by 11:59 pm. No prior experience is required and this is a great opportunity to hold a leadership position and stand out amongst your peers! Click here to learn more about Arab American culture and the history of Arab American Heritage Month. Click here to for an overview of the Arab world and the history of Arab American immigration. According to arabamerica.com, one reason April was chosen was because the month marks “the beginning of the Spring season; symbolizing hope, growth, color, and new beginnings.” PCP values the rich and diverse heritage of all members of our community. The CVS Health Minority Scholarship for Pharmacy Students will be awarded to five outstanding underrepresented minority (URM) students in the US who have been accepted into a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program for the 2023-2024 (next) academic year OR were enrolled in their first (P1) year of the professional phase of the PharmD degree program during the 2022-2023 (current) academic year. The Student Affairs Committee has created a wellness events for PCP students to unwind before ESARs and final exams. Please fill out this brief form to register and provide any allergy or dietary preferences. The anticipated event will be held from 11am - 1pm on 5/5, location, games, and FREE food/drinks to be announced. We would like to have a head count by 4/25 so please fill out if you would like to join (so there is enough for everyone!) Aston Pharmacy Home Health Center is hiring for an intern position to work one evening during the week 4p-7p and every Saturday 9a-3p. Aston is a CPESN Pharmacy that provides patient care services and does compounding. Additionally they have medical equipment and do some long-term care services.
