Join the Aquinas College Foundation Council
The Aquinas College Foundation Council warmly invites parents, alumni and members of our wider community to consider joining the Council and help support the education of young men who contribute meaningfully to the wider community.
Open Day
It was a pleasure to welcome all who attended Open Day on Sunday 15 March. With more than 1,500 people through the gates, there was strong interest in the work of the Foundation and the vision for the Aquinas Centre.
Appointment of Executive Officer
We welcome Rachel Crisp, who commenced as Foundation Executive Officer in January 2026. Rachel brings experience across the not-for-profit, youth, education and volunteer sectors. She is committed to fostering an environment where relationships are strengthened and all feel welcome.

Building Update
The construction of the Aquinas Centre and Music School are on track with the expectation for the roof to be installed well before the winter rains. Focus Building Company has completed concreting the floating slabs in both buildings with intentions to pour remaining sections of the lift shaft and concrete pillars within the next few days. Contractors will begin polishing the concrete on the ground floor of the Aquinas Centre next week. Focus has confirmed procurement of key long lead time items, which is a positive step with current global conditions. The College is looking forward to the opening of this significant project and new entrance to the campus in early 2027.
Meet the Foundation Council
We are pleased to introduce Fiona Smith, Deputy Chair of the Foundation. Fiona brings more than 30 years’ experience across human resources, safety and organisational development, including 16 years working internationally. She offers a global perspective and significant expertise to the role.
Fiona is currently General Manager, People and Safety at Perth Radiological Clinic. She also contributes her experience to both commercial and charitable boards and serves as a Director of the Perth Radiological Clinic Foundation. Fiona is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is committed to strong governance and meaningful impact.
Within the Aquinas community, Fiona is a parent of a Year 9 student and is involved in the Aquinas College Schola Cantorum.
