Separating local traffic from State Hiighway 1 traffic is a big part of the Longswamp section of the Waikato Expressway.

We need to provide a network of local roads so people can safely access properties via either the Hampton Downs or Te Kauwhata interchanges.

That means extending Whangamarino Road down to Paddy Road, a bridge over the expressway, and extending Rodda Road to meet up with the Te Kauwhata interchange.
