Calvary Noosa

Date: 3 February 2022

I am writing to inform you that one (1) additional resident and one (1) additional staff member have tested positive for COVID-19 at Calvary Noosa. This brings the total number of COVID positive residents to twenty two (22) including six (6) residents and sixteen (16) staff.

As a result, and in line with Public Health Unit advice residents James and Wales units remain closed to visitors. Residents in Wales and James unit remain in isolation, and will be cared for in their rooms.

Our testing regime continues in James and Wales units and we will update you with the results as soon as the information becomes available.

We are liaising closely with the Public Health Unit and we will be guided by them as to when the restrictions can be eased in James and Wales units. We anticipate our next email update to you will be at the end of the week, unless there is anything that need to be communicated before then.
