Calling All Golf Historians: Help Uncover Middlebury’s Golfing PastOur local golf enthusiast and history buff, Gregg Humphrey, has embarked on an exciting project to write a book detailing the rich history of golf in Middlebury. Gregg’s work will span several decades, tracing the game’s local roots long before the idea of the Ralph Myhre Golf Course ever existed. As part of his research, Gregg is seeking fellow golf history enthusiasts from around the region who may be interested in contributing to this project. He’s especially on the lookout for old photos and memorabilia, particularly of the old Middlebury Country Club, as well as early images of the Ralph Myhre course before it expanded to 18 holes. If you or someone you know has information or photos that could assist in uncovering Middlebury’s golfing past, Gregg would love to hear from you! Please reach out to him directly at ghumphre@middlebury.edu. Let’s help preserve and share the incredible story of golf in our community! Glow Golf Is Back!
