Funding opportunities
Manufacturing Energy Efficiency Grant
The Queensland Government's Manufacturing Energy Efficiency Grant (MEEG) Round 2 program is now open for applications up to $50,000 for Queensland-based manufacturers.
Applications will close 30 June 2025 or until all funding is allocated. Read the MEEG grant guidelines for more information.
Made in Queensland grants
Round 7 of the Queensland Government's Made in Queensland (MiQ) Grants program opens 24 September 2024.
Matched funding grants of $50,000 to $2.5 million are available for Queensland-based manufacturers looking to adopt industry leading equipment, technologies, systems and processes. Read the MiQ grant guidelines for more information.
Export Market Development Grants
The Australian Government’s Export Market Development Grants program is now open.
Grant funding is available to small and medium entreprises that are:
- ready to export
- exporting within existing markets
- exporting to new key markets.

Local employer ARB Capalaba has been recognised for outstanding achievement in VET (vocational education and training), making it as finalists in the prestigious Queensland Training Awards 2024.
Serving the Redlands Coast community for more than 20 years, ARB Capalaba employs 11 staff including six skilled fitters and mechanics. The company offers work experience to students and supports apprentices through Allora College, helping them gain mechanical or sales skills as well as industry experience.
ARB Capalaba supports continuous staff development through e-learning platforms, on-the-job training, team building events and rewarding loyalty, which helps the business grow.
