We've been advised by AusNet of a scheduled power outage in Yackandandah this Tuesday 13 May from 8:00am - 4:00pm. If the outage goes ahead as scheduled, the Yackandandah Visitor Information Centre will be closed for the day. A warm congratulations to Claire and Damon, the new owners of Happy Baker. As Terie and Michael pass the baton on, we extend our heartfelt thanks for their incredible dedication in bringing artisan breads and pastries to the Yack community for many years. We wish Terie and Michael the very best in their next chapter, and we're thrilled to see Happy Baker continue to thrive under new owners Claire and Damon. 

In other business news, Stone Hill View has relocated to a vibrant new space in the heart of town. You can now experience their beautiful craftsmanship up close at their new location, 11 High Street, directly opposite Gum Tree Pies. It’s the perfect spot to discover their locally made creations while exploring everything our town has to offer.

This spirited comedy follows writer Charles Condomine, who invites clairvoyant Madame Arcati to dinner, hoping to inspire his next novel. What follows is far more than he bargained for.

Hello everyone, 

What a spectacular weekend it was in Beechworth! The much-loved Drive Back in Time event, hosted by Beechworth Old Cranks Motor Club, drew a big crowd. With sunshine and a crisp autumn breeze, the atmosphere was absolutely fantastic.

The 2025 National Tidy Towns Awards were held right here in Beechworth over the weekend too. Big congratulations to Anne Wilson, Iris Manik and the whole team for putting together such a well-organised and successful event. Your passion for community and sustainability is an inspiration to us all.

We've been lucky to host numerous bus groups touring the breathtaking autumn colours of the High Country over the last few weeks. Beechworth is a key stop on their journey and there’s more to come before the autumn leaves finally fall – we look forward to welcoming them all.

Clue: On Stage! is a murder-mystery farce based on the very well-known game and movie, Clue!

So, whodunnit? Was it Miss Scarlet in the Hall with the wrench? Or maybe Colonel Mustard in the library with the dagger? Come along and find out!

This show is recommended for audiences 12+ (contains mature themes, flashing lights, and sudden noises) with children required to be seated with a responsible adult.

The evening includes a delicious Taco Night dinner and a special Mother's Day Afternoon Tea and raffle to raise funds for Beechworth to Bridge.
