Join us for a B-cycle update webinar, with a focus on the Scheme Review process currently underway. BSC is grateful to our partners and stakeholders for their active participation in the process, with over 350 individuals contributing through forums in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney, as well as industry meetings, written submissions, and online surveys.
BSC has been pleased to receive great feedback and valuable ideas for improvement. We have taken the time to consider the suggested feedback and to respond with adjustments to the proposed Scheme design. As a result we are redefining the model and working with the collection and recycling network to ensure that the solutions provided are practical on the ground. The likely outcome will be a number of options to take to the ACCC for our re-authorisation depending on the regulatory reform actions taken by government(s).
During this session, we will share detail on the feedback-driven adjustments underway, such as the implementation changes to eco-modulated levies, sustainability investments, collection rebates and performance-based processing rebates aimed at boosting circularity outcomes. We will also discuss the phased rollout of an expanded scope for B-cycle and proposed regulatory reforms.

A further B-cycle update webinar on the Scheme Review is planned for mid-December following the Environment Ministers Meeting, at which a regulatory impact statement for batteries will be discussed. Further information will be provided soon, once the date of the Environment Ministers meeting is known.
