Many of you wrote to the Mayor and Town Manager requesting that Mary Fay's Anti-Crime Resolution be added to the Town Council agenda...AND IT WORKED!!!
The Anti-Crime Resolution is on the agenda for tonight's West Hartford Town Council meeting.
NOW - WE NEED YOUR HELP IN GETTING THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED!
Please make every effort to attend tonight's Town Council meeting. The meeting is tonight, Tuesday, October 26. Please be sure to show up at 7:00pm and sign up to speak. The meeting starts at 7:30pm. We need a good crowd to show up and support Mary's resolution!
You don't need to say much. When it's your turn to speak, just tell the Town Council that you support Mary's Anti-Crime Resolution and you urge the Town Council to vote in favor of the measure.
Attached is the Town Council Agenda as well as a copy of Mary's Anti-Crime Resolution.
If you can't make the meeting tonight, please send an email now to the Town Council pledging your support for Mary's Anti-Crime Resolution. Here are the email addresses for the non-Republican members of the Town Council:

Please be firm but respectful in your emails or if you plan to attend in person. If emailing, please provide your name and West Hartford street address as well as your telephone number. Please let them know that you completely support this Anti-Crime resolution and fully expect the West Hartford Town Council to vote in favor of adopting the resolution. You should also mention that this Anti-Crime Resolution has been introduced in many other towns in Connecticut such as Rocky Hill, Newington and Wethersfield.
