Update: Good progress made on the Brougham Street/ Moorhouse Avenue area project

Hello

We’re emailing to update you on the Brougham Street/Moorhouse Avenue area project.

Following community engagement, the project team held a workshop in late February to develop a long list of possible options for the area.

The workshop was well attended by 46 representatives from the community, industry and local stakeholders.

We broke into groups to discuss and define possible ideas and locations in the project area.

These valuable insights are helping us identify a number of possible changes for the Brougham Street/Moorhouse Avenue area.

In total over 350 ideas have been identified through the workshop, previous work and from stakeholder and community feedback.

The project team is currently working to develop these into programmes which will then be evaluated against the project’s investment objectives.

Our aim is to make it safer and easier for everyone to live, do business and travel in the Brougham Street/Moorhouse Avenue area.

We will stay in touch with updates and get your thoughts as things progress.

Warm regards,

Haroun Turay, Nilesh Redekar, Martin Peat

(Project Managers)
