Supporting Students Throughout the Strike

Carleton and CUPE 4600 (representing Teaching Assistants and Contract Instructors) have been unable to reach tentative agreements and, as a result, CUPE 4600 members are currently on strike.

Strikes can be challenging, and uncertainty about the future may cause additional stress. In particular, we have been hearing questions from students regarding the end of the winter term. Information on graduation, examinations and support services is available on the Current Students website.

Over the winter term, there has been an increase of incidents where tunnel carts on campus have been tampered with or taken control of by individuals without the required training or authorization. These incidents have involved damage to the cart, other university property, or risk of serious injury to members of our community. Please visit the current students website to read more about the risks involved with unauthorized persons operating tunnel carts.
