Recognizing this critical time for faith formation, the Child Evangelism Fellowship has been on a mission to bring the Gospel message to children around the world for more than 87 years. This international, nonprofit organization is the largest child evangelism ministry in the world, planting seeds of faith and discipling kids for a life of following Jesus Christ. To date, CEF has reached nearly 400 million children with the Gospel. With the goal to reach “every child, every nation, every day,” CEF pursues every possible means to evangelize, disciple, and establish the next generation in the local church. “Jesus had a real heart for children,” York said. “He encouraged them to come to Him. He spent time with them. And He says, as an adult, … you have to be like a child to receive the Gospel.” NRB Members Learn Digital Donor Acquisition Strategies from Mark Dreistadt, Infinity Concepts CEO On June 26, NRB Membership presented an exclusive webinar with Mark Dreistadt, president and CEO of Infinity Concepts. Dreistadt, a veteran in the industry with over 20 years of experience in brand communications, presented four pillars of donor development, with a particular emphasis on cost-effective digital donor acquisition. Dreistadt has been an NRB member for decades, having served on the TV Advisory Council, TV Standing Committee, and as a member of the President’s Council. As a newcomer to the television industry, he found invaluable resources, connections, and networking opportunities at the NRB Convention. A faithful attendee for more than 30 years, Dreistadt highlights the convention's value in discovering new technologies, techniques, and opportunities, but emphasizes its greatest strength: rekindling old friendships. Dreistadt outlined the four core components of a donor communication program: donor acquisition, donor activation, donor communication, and donor elevation. The webinar specifically addressed the first pillar—strategies for acquiring new donors. Dreistadt discussed various traditional methods for donor acquisition, including broadcasting, direct mail, live events, public relations, one-on-one interactions, and website outreach. He analyzed the strengths and limitations of each approach. Dreistadt then delved into his area of expertise—digital donor acquisition, a more cost-effective approach to building a donor base. “So many ministries just assume donors will come,” Dreistadt said. “But without an intentional program, it’s sometimes a challenge to do that. … I think the digital acquisition strategy—it’s not easy. It doesn’t happen automatically, but it’s doable.” He shared three key reasons he favors this approach:
Dreistadt offered valuable insights from his experience in developing a digital donor acquisition system and answered questions from NRB members attending the webinar, who have exclusive access to the full recording.
