We have never been so popular! With the world seeming like it’s upside down and energy being the topic on everyone’s lips, people have realised they need our advice now more than ever before. This is certainly not us waving a magic wand and providing immediate solutions, but our approach to working with our customers on long-term horizon plans, that we know we can control and ultimately achieve together, is something that customers undoubtedly value in this period of such uncertainty.
Good advice always pays for itself and our selfless approach to genuinely guiding our customers and chosen sectors through these tough times, will hopefully be recognised for years to come. Please don’t hesitate to reach out and use our experience and expertise, our team is ready and equipped to provide quality advice and clarity on the market. In the meantime, we have a variety of useful information below and examples of how you can make a difference to your energy and water budgets, one step at a time.

We are continuing to expand in the UK
We are delighted to announce that Scottish-based DB Group (Europe) Ltd has joined the Zenergi family.
With shared customer service cultures and values, the acquisition will enable customers to benefit from the increased capability of the enhanced group.
Market Watch LIVE is...live!
Every day (Mon – Fri), a dedicated collection of experienced individuals within the Zen team is available live between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. to answer your energy questions and concerns. On the Market Watch Live site you will also find a weekly video offering insight into the current energy market drivers impacting prices, along with some FAQs.

Energy crisis could send NHS bill soaring past £1 billion
Zenergi has recently provided its expertise in Healthcare Business magazine, in response to the current energy crisis and its impact on the NHS.
Research conducted by Zenergi’s Energy Management division estimates that overall energy costs could rocket to £1.2 billion when the next Estates Return Information Collection (ERIC) is published.

DfE updates to education and childcare settings and providers
We are aware that the Department for Education (DfE) has shared information with schools regarding renewal of energy contracts. The market remains highly volatile, and we recommend that you seek guidance from your Relationship Manager who can help advise on strategies available to you.
Our webinar on 12 April is aimed at those with an upcoming renewal and seeks to answer any questions you may have. You can also use our new Market Watch Live platform for further guidance and a live response to any question submitted during the hours the channel is manned.

Energy Market update
The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has had a profound influence on energy prices, since Russia is Europe’s largest importer of Natural Gas, among other natural resources. The
escalating conflict has placed much uncertainty on Europe’s future supply, with the near term most concerning as gas storage levels are now below 30%.
A number of concerns circulate, from sanctions being applied to Russian energy industries, to gas being used as a political weapon and leverage by Russia. We have already seen the suspension of a key pipeline, Nord Stream 2, push energy prices up dramatically. Uncertainty remains, and with the continued conflict, we appear to be moving in the wrong direction, and further into the energy crisis.
