The Hamilton roading crews are working around the clock to get new lanes ready for traffic at the Southern Interchange at Tamahere.
The day shift lay and compact the rock base, and a night crew spread and compact the asphalt.
Once completed traffic will be switched over on to these lanes, and go under the East West Bridge, creating room for more lane construction on the northern side.
