January 23, 2025 NRB President & CEO Statement on FACE Act Pardons WASHINGTON, D.C. (NRB) – NRB president & CEO Troy A. Miller has issued a statement on President Donald J. Trump’s pardon of 23 peaceful, pro-life protesters imprisoned under the so-called Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act. “In his remarks to the NRB Convention last February, President Trump drew attention to the plight of peaceful, pro-life protesters imprisoned under the FACE Act and promised that ‘the moment I win the election, I will appoint a special task force to rapidly review the cases of every political prisoner who has been unjustly victimized by the Biden regime.’ “President Trump has kept his promise. We applaud his pardon of 23 Americans unjustly thrown behind bars for peacefully protesting outside abortion clinics, and thank him for his swift action on this critical matter." At NRB 2025, Learn How to Help Foster a Culture of Life in America Christians are on the front lines of the fight for the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death, even as this principle faces constant cultural, legal, and ethical challenges. With debates over when life begins and the definition of personhood, these values are being tested like never before. At NRB 2025, join the discussion at the “Pro-Family, Pro-Science, Pro-Life America” Forum and gain practical tools to help restore a culture that values life in America. “Our movement is about so much more than ending abortion,” underscores Prudence Robertson, who will moderate the panel discussion. “One of our most important tasks is to revolutionize public opinion and get people thinking about the programs and policies which must be put in place not only in government, but in our local communities, to truly build a pro-life America.” Stand Up for Life: 2025 March for Life in the Nation’s Capital Every year, the March for Life unites thousands who share a common goal: defending the lives of the unborn. This 2025 March for Life promises to be a powerful day of prayer, advocacy, and shared purpose. “Even as we have key wins for the pro-life movement the last few years, the fight for life continues,” said Troy A. Miller, president & CEO of the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB).“We must remain vigilant in our defense of the unborn and advocate for policies that support women, families, and children. NRB stands with those who believe that every human life is precious and deserves protection. We will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that the truth about the dignity of human life is heard and that a culture of life prevails in our nation.” As the largest gathering of Christian communicators, the NRB International Christian Media Convention is the place to form partnerships within the world of faith-based media that benefit your organization long into the future.
