Civil Rights Groups Call on Major Corporations to Stick with DEI Programs

DEI SUPPORT  An open letter from 19 organizations — including the NAACP, NOW, and the Human Rights Campaign Foundation — called on leaders of Fortune 1000 companies to remain steadfast with their DEI initiatives. The Inaugural Eric J. Friedman & Skadden 1L Accelerate Program

COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS   The University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School recently launched the 1L Accelerate Program, welcoming 40 1Ls to an immersive pre-orientation experience. Made possible by a gift from Skadden in honor of LCLD Board Member Eric J. Friedman, Past Chairman and Executive Partner, the program is designed to support 1Ls who may be first-generation graduate students or who come from underrepresented backgrounds.  University of Pennsylvania

The 2024 WIPL Awards: Law Firm Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Champions

DEI SUPPORT   2017 Fellow Shanon R. Mitchell Silberberg to Help Companies Facing DEI Challenges
