We’re looking for residents to join our Resident Experience Committee and help shape how services are delivered at SettleParadigm.
What does the Resident Experience Committee do?
The Resident Experience Committee supports the SettleParadigm Board by focusing specifically on everything that impacts resident experience. At each meeting, members review information, listen to reports and proposals, and work together to provide insight, scrutiny and support.
As a committee member, you will help ensure that residents remain at the heart of decision-making and that lived experience shapes how services are delivered and improved.
💷 £5,000 per year
📅 Around 5 meetings a year

Supporting you and your family
Register your interest in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy support
If you’re struggling with anxiety, low mood, stress or worries, support is available.
In partnership with Buckinghamshire New University, we are offering residents Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) - a practical talking therapy that helps you manage your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
Once you complete the form, a therapist will review your information and will contact you to discuss if this type of therapy is suitable. These free sessions are usually weekly and can take place in person, by phone or online.
Can we help with employment or career support?
Would you or someone in your household benefit from help finding work or planning a career?
We may be able to offer support such as CV workshops, interview practice, career advice, school assemblies, apprenticeships, and access to job opportunities.
We’re looking to understand who would be interested and where support is most needed.
Cost of living support: We’re here to help
We know rising costs are affecting many households. We can help with:
- Budgeting and money advice
- Checking benefits and grants you may be entitled to
- Support with energy costs
- Managing rent or other debts.
If you use oil for heating, we can also help you find schemes and support to manage higher fuel costs.

Don't miss our anti-social behaviour (ASB) webinar
We’ll explain what ASB is, how you can report it, and what happens once a report has been made. You’ll gain an understanding of the process we follow, the support available to you, and the limitations around the actions we can take.
This session will also be an opportunity for you to ask any general questions you may have.

If you’re not happy with the outcome, you can contact the Housing Ombudsman for an independent review.
The Housing Ombudsman
The Housing Ombudsman Service has been set up to look at complaints about housing organisations. Their service is independent and impartial.
They will only consider formal investigations once our internal complaints process has been completed.
You can let the Housing Ombudsman know if you're unhappy with the outcome of your complaint using their online complaint form here.
Could you leave your home if there were a fire?
You can now self-refer for a Residential Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan, if you need extra help to leave your home during an emergency, such as a fire.
Who might need help to evacuate?
You or someone you live with may need extra support during an emergency for many reasons, including:
- Mobility difficulties
- Visual or hearing impairments
- Recovering from an injury, such as a break or fracture
- Using medical equipment or mobility aids
A merger update - SettleParadigm
As you may know, Settle and Paradigm Housing Group are planning to fully merge into one organisation, with Settle homes and services transferring to Paradigm Homes Charitable Housing Association Limited.
Settle residents are now being consulted on the proposal. The aim is to strengthen services and invest more in communities. We'll share the results of the consultation with you in September and keep you updated every step of the way on what matters to you.
Our annual Garden Competition is coming soon
As the weather starts to warm up, it’s the perfect time to give your garden some extra care and attention.
Why not use this opportunity to get it ready for our annual Garden Competition?
