Parents and Friends,

The semester is underway! Students are already busy with class projects, papers, and exams. We hope you will encourage your students to take advantage of the many resources available to them, from faculty office hours, to connecting with their Peer Mentor, and utilizing Supplemental Instruction (SI) and Collaborative Learning Assistants (CLAs).

FAFSA Reminder

Students enrolling in classes for the 2026-2027 academic year need to complete the FAFSA.  If students need any support in completing the FAFSA, they can visit Student Financial Services in the Beck Center, where a Financial Aid staff member will be available to assist them.

Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns at parents@tlu.edu.

On February 28, students and their families are invited to the JCPenney Suit Up event in New Braunfels, where they can access discounted professional attire to feel prepared for interviews and career events. For nursing students, scrubs will also be included in the discounted price.

Additionally, the Spring Career Fair on March 5 provides students with the opportunity to connect directly with employers, explore internships and job opportunities, and practice professional networking skills.
