From north to south, the Hamilton section of the Waikato Expressway is changing colour.
The latest project update looks at recent progress, where the focus is on pavement and surfacing.
The site has moved from yellow compacted sand to grey layers of cement-stabilised pavement rock. Now it is turning black as the asphalt surfacing is laid.
The February update looks at what’s happening right along the 22km route – including the Powells Road underpass and the new roading network servicing Tamahere.
