June 23rd - Outdoor Worship, weather permitting

June 30th - 5th Sunday. Chicago Pride Parade. An email will be sent that week with a worship experience to watch on your own time. There will not be an in-person worship service.

Betty Greer will be at church collecting items for the People's Resource Center and Interfaith Food Pantry on Saturday, June 22nd, from 11am-1pm. 

Most-needed items are listed on the left sidebar. Please make sure food items have not expired and are unopened.

The nursery will be closed on Outdoor Worship Sundays.

The Mission Committee is looking for volunteers to help distribute premade “factor meals” at the Pads Interim Housing Center on Saturday, June 22nd, from 4:30 to 6:30pm. If interested, please contact Jeannine Adams for details.

The deadline to order tickets is Monday, June 24th.

Membership Life has planned a fun night at the ballpark on Thursday, July 11th, at 6:30pm, to watch the Kane County Cougars.

Tickets are $24 each, which includes 1 box seat and $10 in food vouchers. Parking passes and Kids’ Zone options are also available. Registration and ticket purchases are ONLINE ONLY.

Sunday School is on summer break!

It will resume on Sunday, August 18th. The children are invited to experience church in the sanctuary.

Marian Park is hosting a wellness fair for their residents on Thursday, June 27th, from 11am - 3pm. They are in need of 3 - 5 volunteers to host the table to distribute reusable bags, hand out fresh vegetables from The Barn Owl Nursery, and then help serve Rosati's pizza lunch. Please contact Stu Blake or let the office know if you can help.

The award-winning St. Matthew Shopping Cart Brigade will again be marching in the Wheaton 4th of July Parade. The parade kicks off at 10am. We will collect food and monetary donations for People's Resource Center and the Interfaith Food Pantry.

This is a great family event, and all are invited to participate.

We need volunteers. Sign up in the narthex and choose from a variety of volunteer opportunities, including pushing shopping carts, collecting donations, or walking with the group along the festive parade path! Contact the office or John Adams for more information. 

We need an adult volunteer in the nursery every week.

Volunteers are needed on July 7th (2 adults) and August 4th.

This will be our last "Jesus Has Left the Building" event for a while. Instead of traditional worship, we invite everyone to support the Chicago Pride Parade. An email will go out that week with a worship experience for you to watch on your own time. 

If you would like to share your talent this summer, please consider signing up to provide special music during the summer. There is a sign-up sheet in the narthex or click here and sign up online!

St. Matthew will host a Red Cross Blood Drive on Monday, July 15th, from 12-5pm, in Dobstaff.

We are looking for some friendly folks to volunteer to greet people on Sunday mornings before church. Contact the office if you would like to be a part of welcoming people to worship!
