IMPORTANT NEWS ABOUT THE BLACKBURN EDZ BID

Following the approval at ballot for a fourth term Business Improvement District for the Blackburn EDZ Business Parks (covering Furthergate, Whitebirk and Greenbank) this email contains important changes to the management of the BID and provides new contact details for staff who will respond to enquiries and issues across the BID area.

Blackburn EDZ’s New BID Body – Groundwork CLM

From the 1^st October 2022 Groundwork CLM have taken over from Newground CIC as the BID’s management organisation. Groundwork are a not-for-profit environmental trust established in 1983, and is now the North West’s leading BID management organisation delivering projects in Burnley, Warrington, Northwich, Wilmslow and Chester. The BID Board’s purpose is to work with Groundwork providing strategic direction and input into the delivery of the BID. All premises liable for a BID levy will have the opportunity to propose a representative to sit on the BID board.
