In a message to the church, Bishop Paul encourages us to pause and reflect on the decisions made at the October 21st Regular Convention of General Synod, particularly regarding the resolution on ordination: 'I commend to you this time following our Convention as a time to pause: to pray and to listen; to listen to each other and to listen to the voice of our Good Shepherd.' Bishop Paul also emphasises the importance of finding 'liminal spaces' in our lives as Christians. These spaces, he explains, are like doorsteps that enable us to move through things required for the next place. Read Bishop Paul's full message, which includes two prayers for the church.

The Popular Report for the 21st Regular Convention of General Synod is now available. Your delegate may have shared it with your congregation already – or will do so shortly. If you can’t wait for that to happen, click here to go to the Convention page – Popular Report.

Convention business sessions and worship services were livestreamed so that people across the LCANZ could follow the Synod journey along with delegates. The worship services have been extracted from the recorded livestreams and are available on our Synod Livestreams webpage for viewing.
