Coronavirus (COVID-19) | Update for Residents and Families

Dear Resident or Family Member,

COVID -19 Update (No 8) for Residents and Families at Calvary The Brelsford

I am writing to inform you that no additional residents have tested positive for COVID-19 since our last update to you.

As such, in line with Public Health Unit advice I am pleased to let you know that our Sapphire Unit residents are no longer isolated to their rooms. The two COVID positive residents in Sapphire will remain, and be cared for in their rooms until cleared by the Public Health Unit.

We are liaising closely with the Public Health Unit, and will update you as soon as we have any further information. Our staff are in contact with the families of the COVID positive residents and are keeping them informed,

We anticipate our next update to Calvary Brelsford residents and families will be 27 January 2022, unless there are changes or updates that need to be communicated before then.

In the meantime, Calvary The Brelsford remains closed to all visitors.

Visitor exceptions may be made for end of life visits.  Please speak to your home manager in relation to visitation.
