U-Pass and Campus Card Combined

This fall, the U-Pass transit pass and the Campus Card are combined.

If your Campus Card was issued before Monday, July 1, 2024, you will add the new transit application to your card at the Campus Card Office in 407 Nideyinàn during office hours. You will be enrolled in the program and your U-Pass will be activated as soon as you meet the eligibility requirements. This process replaces the blue U-Pass card and reloading method.

If you received your Campus Card after Monday, July 1, 2024, the transit application is already on your card. Your U-Pass will be activated automatically.

Update Carleton Mobile App to Version 1.3

Update your Carleton Mobile app! Version 1.3 has push notifications for course and exam schedule changes and new campus map markers for electric vehicle stations and public transit stops.

Full details on the update are available on the Carleton Mobile news and release updates page.

Wellness Resources

The start of a new term is exciting, but can also bring up feelings of anxiety or stress. If you’re seeking extra support, there is always help available to you.

The Wellness Services Navigator will match you with a curated list of confidential resources on campus and in the community catered to your specific wellness needs. The Mental Health and Wellness website is another great place to start, with resources for mental health, substance use health, spirituality and more.

Self-Enrol in Multi-Factor Authentication

To enhance the security of the Carleton University community, students, faculty and staff are being enrolled in Microsoft multi-factor authentication (MFA). During the fall 2024 term, undergraduate students will automatically begin seeing prompts to set up MFA when they attempt to log into Microsoft 365 services using their MyCarletonOne password. However, you can self-enrol in Microsoft MFA before you begin seeing prompts.

Have an RESP and Need Proof of Carleton Enrolment?

Students who require Verification of Student Status to obtain their RESP funding can make their request electronically through Carleton Central (Select ‘Request a Transcript/Certificate of Enrolment/Verification of Student Status’ from the main menu of Carleton Central (log in through Carleton360 on the Current Students website). Completed requests are emailed directly to your Carleton email account within two business days of request.

About State of the Raven Newsletter

The State of the Raven newsletter is Carleton’s official undergraduate student newsletter sent to all students registered in the current term to ensure the consistency, consolidation and simplification of all communications under the Student Communications Policy.

To limit the number of emails students receive from the university, this newsletter collects the latest news, events, key dates, support services and resources from around campus to keep you up to date about what’s going on at Carleton. As the State of the Raven is an official Carleton newsletter, students are unable to unsubscribe.
