Grants up for grabs

With a total of $280,000 worth of grants on offer and $40,000 specifically for environmental programs, it might just be the helping hand you need to get your great idea off the ground! 

Environment Centres pivot to support home-schooling

During lockdown, our educators are offering a series of fun, educational webinars to help primary school teachers keep their students busy and engaged. The ‘Live Lockdown’ sessions kicked off last week with our Kindy to Year 4 students following the adventures of ‘Remi the Raindrop’s journey downstream’.

World Environment Day

Great news! Our community came out in droves to celebrate World Environment Day at events last month. Volunteers helped clean up beaches, while families joined night walks to spot our nocturnal animals. Others learnt about floating wetlands. We also had a huge turn out to our Solar Expo. Whale migration season

We're blessed to be so close to the ‘Humpback Highway’. It's the perfect time of the year to spot these majestic creatures just off our coastline. You’ll get some great views from many of our local headlands. But please remember to follow current travel and exercise restrictions.
