No images? Click here Mayor's Message This week I was fortunate to help Balgowlah North Public School launch their new 69kw solar power system. Not only will it reduce carbon emissions by 82 tonnes (that’s like taking 29 cars off our road), it’ll drop the school’s power bill by a whopping 50%. It’s possible, thanks to a proactive school and community, Council and the solar my schools program. It’s the third Northern Beaches school to get involved in this program and we have now installed 143kW of solar across the three schools. Congratulations to all involved.
