![]() NRB Announces Staff Additions, Promotions NRB is pleased to announce two senior staff additions and two senior staff promotions. “Recruiting, retaining, and empowering talented staff is foundational to our work on behalf of NRB members,” said NRB President & CEO Troy A. Miller. “NRB thrives because of its dedicated and purposeful personnel, and I am pleased to announce a slate of senior staff additions and promotions that will advance NRB’s mission effectiveness.” Natalie Bonczek, CPA (inactive) will serve as Chief Financial Officer. Bonczek is a seasoned accounting and finance professional, joining NRB with nearly two decades of experience in her field. Noelle Huizenga will serve as Vice President of Public Policy & Communications. Huizenga has served as Director of Public Policy & Communications since 2021. Scott Hunter will serve as Executive Director, NRB Music Licensing Committee (NRBMLC). Hunter has led the NRBMLC since 2019 and now joins NRB as a full-time staff member in the Office of General Counsel. Beth Wakefield will serve as Vice President of Events. Wakefield has supported and facilitated NRB events in various roles since 2003 and has served as Director of Events since 2019. NRB Members Highlight the Vital Role of AM Radio in Serving Listeners Across America AM radio attracts an estimated 80 million listeners each month, including a large share of listeners who tune in to the AM dial to be encouraged by faithful Christian broadcasters and media ministries. Americans especially depend on AM radio in times of emergency as the most resilient communication technology when cell towers and power lines are impacted by natural disasters. With some automakers planning to exclude AM radio from new electric vehicles, House and Senate lawmakers are currently contemplating proposals to require inclusion of AM radio receivers in all new vehicles made or imported into the United States. NRB members can attest firsthand to the positive role AM radio plays in the lives of their listeners and how AM serves their audience in times of crisis.
