State Highway 1 - Kawakawa to Cape Reinga

State Highway 1 – Mangamuka Gorge

• Friday 2 May to Friday 23 May, during the day, 8am – 5pm.
• Due to final recovery works in this area, shoulder closures, speed restrictions and stop/go traffic management will be in place where required.

State Highway 1 – North of Kawakawa

• Tuesday 20 May to Friday 23 May, during the night, 7pm – 5am.
• Due to drainage in this area, stop/go traffic management and speed restrictions will be in place.

State Highway 1 – Kawakawa

• Thursday 22 May, during the night, 8pm – 5am.
• Due to road maintenance in this area, stop/go traffic management and speed restrictions will be in place.

State Highway 1 – Whangārei to Kawakawa

State Highway 1 – North of Callaghans Road, Maromaku

• Tuesday 20 May, during the night, 8pm – 5am.
• Due to road repairs in this area, stop/go traffic management and speed restrictions will be in place.

State Highway 1 – Akerama

• Thursday 20 March to the end of May 2025, during the day and night.
• Due to road rebuilding in this area, lane shifts and speed restrictions will be in place.
• Sealing of the northbound lanes is expected to be completed by the end of May, weather permitting. The southbound lanes rebuild is rescheduled for next season due to delays caused by wet weather.

State Highway 1 – Topuni to Whangārei

No significant works scheduled for this week.

State Highway 10

State Highway 10 – Kaeo to Waipapa

• Monday 19 May to Friday 23 May, during the day, 8am – 6pm.
• Due to road resurfacing in this area, stop/go traffic management and speed restrictions will be in place.

State Highway 11

State Highway 11 – Paihia

• Due to seawall extension and footpath repairs, a road closure between Bayview Road and Williams Road is in place during weekdays (Monday to Friday, 7am – 6pm approximately). The work is expected to be completed by Friday 6 June 2025.
• Northbound detour: Via Williams Road, Selwyn Road and Bayview Road
• Southbound detour: Via Bayview Road, Selwyn Road, Williams Road, Joyce Road, School Road
• During weekends and evenings, one lane is open to southbound traffic with a reduced speed of 30km/h at all times.

State Highway 12

State Highway 12 – South of Parore West Road, Parore

• Monday 19 May, during the night, 8pm – 5am.
• Due to road repairs in this area, stop/go traffic management and speed restrictions will be in place.

State Highway 12 – Between Matakohe West Road and Old Racecourse Road, Matakohe

• Monday 14 April to Friday 23 May, during the day, 6am – 6pm.
• Due to road rebuild and subsidence repair works in this area, speed restrictions will be in place and additional traffic management when required for specific work activities.

No significant works scheduled for this week.

State Highway 15

No significant works scheduled for this week.
