SH73/SH75 Christchurch to Akaroa speed review project update
9 July 2021

Rural road with view of Akaroa in the background

Thank you for your feedback

You may have heard that we're asking people for their views about speeds on the highway between Christchurch and Akaroa.

We've had a fantastic response so far, with more than 100 emails and many constructive comments and conversations on the interactive map on our website.

We've also held three pop-up events where local people have taken up our invitation to come along, find out more about the speed review process, ask questions and make a submission.

The next pop-up event will be tomorrow - Saturday 10 July at the Gaiety Hall, Akaroa on Rue Jolie, between 11am and 2pm.

Extra pop-up event

We've had requests to hold an additional weekend pop-up event, which we are happy to accommodate.

Here are the details:

Tai Tapu Community Centre
Rhodes Park
Sunday 25 July 3:30-5pm.

You are welcome to share this update through your networks - we hope to see you there!
