Come visit over 20 resources and hear 2-minute lightning talks about resources for second-year students. Enjoy snacks, giveaways, and enter to win raffle prizes including AirPods Pro, a Nintendo Switch, and more!

All We Can Save Keynote Event

Monday, September 20
Virtual | 4-5:30pm

Join us in a dialogue with the co-editors of All We Can Save, the Second-Year Reading Experience selection, and a best-selling anthology of writings by 60 women at the forefront of the climate movement. Learn how truth, courage, and solutions are laying the path towards a just and sustainable future and how each of us can get engaged. Learn more HERE.

Join Penn Women's Center for an "Arts & Activism" themed open house! Second-Year students are invited to join us for button and zine making throughout September. You will also have an opportunity to meet the staff, tour our space, and learn about ways you can get involved to promote gender equity at Penn.

The College Houses are committed to making your sophomore year all it can be by linking you to the resources you need to keep yourself healthy, happy, and connected. We'll provide opportunities to get mentoring from juniors, seniors, and grad students, and chances to provide mentoring for new first-year students. You have made it through your first year and learned a good deal about Penn and yourself. Now as you enter your sophomore year, some special tasks lie before you. This is the year in which you will declare your major, and probably the one in which you will decide whether or not to study abroad. An integral part of your second year is the Wharton Sophomore Experience. Second-Year Reading Experience (SYRE) Highlight

Second-Year students have a shared reading experience in collaboration with Penn Climate Week! The book, All We Can Save: Truth, Courage, and Solutions for the Climate Crisis, is a 2020 collection of essays and poetry edited by Ayana Elizabeth Johnson and Katharine Wilkinson. The book opens with a selection from Penn's Class of 2024's very own Xiye Bastida!
