Thank You from CQC

We would like to thank the individuals and organizations that support CQC and its initiatives that help improve the health care available to Californians. This work wouldn’t be possible without our sponsors and funders:

  • Aetna CVS Health, Anthem, Blue Shield of California, California Health Care Foundation, CalOptima, Centene Corporation, Cigna, Health Net, Kaiser Permanente, LA Care, Molina, Oscar Health, UnitedHealthcare and Valley Health Plan

CQC's Impact

Our efforts are furthering advanced primary care, accelerating behavioral health integration into primary care practices and improving access and outcomes of virtual care for Californians.

Together with partners across California’s health care delivery system, CQC has:

  • Secured commitments from six large payers in California (Aetna CVS Health, Aledade, Blue Shield of California, Health Net, Oscar Health and UnitedHealthcare) to work together through 2025 to adopt and scale CQC’s advanced primary care standards, improving care and health outcomes for seven million Californians.

  • Improved clinical outcomes for diabetes and asthma and piloted innovative virtual care solutions for 720,000 Californians with seven provider organizations, resulting in a 7.6% improvement in Hemoglobin A1C control among patients with diabetes.

  • Designed two new improvement collaboratives, launching in 2023, for small and independent primary care practices to improve mental health care and reduce health disparities.
