We wanted to let you know of a great opportunity to showcase our charitable giving and support of the Newington and West Hartford Communities.

Anastasia Yopp, candidate for the 20th District State House Representative, has put together a "Food Drive" to support the food bank pantries for both Newington and West Hartford.

The event is this Thursday, October 13, from 4:30pm - 6:30pm.  It will be held at the Mortensen Community Center, located at 200 Garfield Street in Newington.

I would like everyone to please make every effort to at least stop by and drop off an item (or more than one item if you can) for the food banks.

Anastasia will have music with DJ Services provided by DJ Brian Skibo!  We will also have coffee, cookies and I'll make some of my world famous hot mulled cider!  

I really would like to have a great showing and would love to have the candidates there for a photo opportunity at the event.  This is a great way to showcase the generous spirit of Republicans in our community.
