Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, SCP is hosting two exciting events in early October. The first is ¡Échense un taco con Sonoma Clean Power! Bring the whole family to our Center this Saturday, October 7th from 11 AM to 3 PM for food, beverages, music, and induction cooking demonstrations by La Texanita. Join us at Mitote Park from 6 PM to 8 PM on October 15th for the Season 2 premiere of SCP's original telenovela, "Por el Mañana". There will be music, food, and notes from cast members. Mendocino's Climate Corners.In January 2022, the County of Mendocino upgraded its eligible facilities to SCP's 100% renewable and locally generated EverGreen service. To inspire the public to reduce their own carbon footprint, the Mendocino County Library and SCP have partnered to launch "Climate Corners" in each library branch: Ukiah, Fort Bragg, Willits, Point Arena, Round Valley, and Laytonville. The Climate Corners offer a selection of climate-related books and materials and a display of our Do-It-Yourself Energy and Water Savings Toolkits, which are available for checkout.
