Funding Secured with Great British Energy Solar Panels

As part of an expanded scheme to fund solar panels for NHS sites, military sites and schools, 34 NHS trusts across England, including 10 already in programme, will receive funding from Great British Energy and government for new solar panels. In total, the scheme will see around 260 NHS sites benefitting.

Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust is one of those benefitting Trusts across England, Michele Moran, Chief Executive said:

"We’re really proud to have secured funding through the NHS and Great British Energy Solar Partnership. It’s another important step in our journey to deliver on our Green Plan and reach Net Zero."

"This investment will help us expand solar generation across key sites, reduce our reliance on grid energy and lower our carbon footprint. It’s a great example of how we’re investing in a more sustainable future for our services and communities."

Engagement Opportunities

Help Us Improve Mental Health Care – Your Voice Matters

As we reach the midway point of the 2025 Community Mental Health Service User Survey fieldwork, we want to thank everyone who has been invited to complete the survey and already taken part.

At Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust, we are committed to providing high-quality, person-centred mental health care with a trauma informed approach. In August this year, the NHS launched its annual survey, gathering feedback on people’s experiences of using mental health services. If you used our services in April or May 2025, you may have been invited to take part and give your feedback on the quality of support you received.

If you’ve been invited to take part but haven’t yet completed the survey, we encourage you to do so. Whether your contact with services was regular or minimal, your voice is valued.

If you have any questions or need help completing it, please email helpline-QH@IQVIA.com or call their freephone helpline on 0800 783 1775 (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday).

The survey is confidential, carried out by the Care Quality Commission and a dedicated Survey Coordination Centre at Picker.

The results will be published in the spring of 2026 and will be used to assess Community Mental Health Trusts in England. What we learn will enable us to identify key priorities, aiding our mission to provide the very best care for you and our community.

For more information about the survey, please visit http://www.cqc.org.uk/cmhsurvey.

Money Worries and Health Survey

We know that money worries and cost of living can impact upon health, wellbeing and recovery, and can stop people from getting the care they need. We want to make sure the support we provide reflects the real needs and experiences of our patients, carers and community members.

Along with various engagement events, we are inviting patients, carers, and community members to complete this brief survey to:

  • Share your views and experiences of financial challenges linked to health and care.
  • Help us to identify practical solutions, that will make a difference for patients, carers and families.

Complete the survey.

Friends and Family Test

The Friends and Family Test (FFT) is an important feedback tool that supports the fundamental principle that people who use NHS services should have the opportunity to provide feedback on their experience. It provides a mechanism to highlight patient experience and is vital in transforming NHS services, supporting patient choice and implementing changes based on your feedback.

Each month we will be sharing patient experiences from our different services, alongside a patient comment.

96.23%

of respondents thought they were involved in their care and listened to within our Childrens and Learning Disability services in September.

"As parents we felt listened to and respected".
