No images? Click here Dear Hub@Penn Resource, Thank you if you have already signed up to be involved with NSO 2021. We will soon be in touch with more details. If you have not yet signed up, we wanted to reach out and remind you that registrations for the Hub@Penn Expo and Second-Year Day are both due tonight, Friday, August 13 at 11:59pm! The Hub@Penn Expo, modeled after our Student Services Expo held in the past, will occur on Tuesday, August 24 & Wednesday, August 25 from 10am to 3pm in Houston Hall. All Hub@Penn Resources are invited and encouraged to take part. We encourage you to come prepared with handouts, giveaways, and anything else you might want to give to new students. We will provide a table for all resources who are present, but you must be able to staff your table for the entire time, both days; if there is a short window of time that you absolutely cannot staff, we will do our best to accommodate you and have our staff (PHINS) cover your table. If you will need this, please indicate it on the provided form. Please register for this event HERE by Friday, August 13. Second-Year Day will occur on Thursday, September 2 in New College House West Lawn from 11am to 1pm and is specifically designed for the Class of 2024. We will provide a table for the resources present, and there are also other opportunities for engagement (i.e. interactive activity, 2-minute lecture, etc.). A representative must be able to staff the event for the entire time. Handouts and giveaways should be more tailored to second-year programming you might offer. Please register for this event HERE by Friday, August 13. Lastly, if you have not already, please consider signing up to be a Penn Reading Project (PRP) Group Facilitator! This year, the selection is August Wilson’s play, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom with the Provost’s Theme Year as Civic Engagement. Sign up to be a PRP Group Facilitator HERE by Tuesday, August 17. We hope that you will consider joining us for these opportunities and we thank you in advance for your support in welcoming students to campus!
