Te Maunga Roundabout Lane closure for asphalting work for upcoming traffic switch. Sunday 15 March, night only 8pm to 5am.

SH2 Bayfair roundabout lane closure for drainage work Monday 16 March, night only 8pm to 5am.

Te Maunga Roundabout lane closure for traffic switch Tuesday 17 March to Wednesday 18 March, night only 8pm to 5am.

SH2 Maunganui Rd southbound (Concord Ave to Bayfair roundabout) left\right lane closure for asphalting remedial work. Thursday 19 March, night only 8pm to 5am.

SH2 & SH29A Truck and trailer movements through site access points to move construction plant and deliver materials. No traffic delays expected. From Monday to Friday. Days: 9am to 4pm.


Advanced notice of significant works

SH2 Bayfair roundabout right lane closure for drainage Works Sunday 22 March, night only 8pm to 5am.

SH29A both directions lane closure for concrete barrier removal Monday 23 March to Thursday 26 March, night only 8pm to 5am.

SH29A both directions lane closure for concrete barrier removal Sunday 29 March to Thursday 2 April, night only 8pm to 5am.

Long-term traffic management
• State Highway 2 Maunganui Rd NB signalised pedestrian crossing is installed and active for pedestrians to cross and access the underpass and the Bayfair Shopping Centre.
• State Highway 2 between Te Maunga intersection and Concord Avenue - narrowed lanes and a 50km/h temporary speed restriction are in place for the duration of the project.
• Bayfair roundabout – a 30km/h temporary speed restriction is in place for the duration of the project.
• Matapihi Road, adjacent to the golf driving range – narrowed lanes and a 30km/h temporary speed restriction is in place for the duration of the project.
• Girven Road, near the Bayfair roundabout - narrowed lanes are in place for the duration of the project and the right-turn from the Bayfair Shopping Centre car park onto Girven Road is permanently closed.
• SH29A near Baypark – narrowed lanes and a 50km/h temporary speed restriction are in place for the duration of the project.
• SH2 Papamoa-bound slip lane at the Te Maunga intersection is permanently closed.
• SH2 Northbound slip lane turning to SH29A from the roundabout is permanently closed.
