At Glynde Lutheran Church in Adelaide’s north-east, located in a rapidly changing multicultural area, the sounds of Mandarin, Korean, Nuer, Hindi, English and other languages can be heard throughout the church complex. Building on its existing ministries, such as hospitality and children’s programs, Glynde Lutheran Church is preparing to launch the Glynde Cross-Cultural Ministry Centre, a three-year project to strengthen multicultural ministry and provide cross-cultural learning for the wider church. Members of the LCANZ are invited to the opening and dedication of the new Church House in the Adelaide CBD this month. While the Frome Street premises have been open to visitors since late last year, the official dedication will be held on Saturday 28 February from 3pm to 5pm. Numbers are limited, so please RSVP by 13 February to soc@lca.org.au, including any dietary requirements.
