Third Link Growth Fund has allowed me to capitalise on my industry knowledge, considerable contacts and many years of experience in the investment management industry to provide both a competitive offering for investors and a valuable contribution to the non-profit sector.

The objective of the Fund is to provide an investment in Australian listed shares, with the aim of outperforming the S&P/ASX 300 Accumulation Index* after fees over rolling five-year periods. I'm pleased to say that this is consistently being achieved. Please read the quarterly fund report for more on our latest performance.

Since its inception, the Fund's donated management fees total $12.9m and have supported over 20 charities, mostly to help children and young people across Australia to THRIVE, not just survive. I am grateful to the investment and service professionals who generously provide their services for free and make Third Link possible. We seek to harness the brightest and best fund managers we can find, based on my knowledge of the industry and feedback from trusted experts.

In June 2020, Third Link Growth Fund secured a ‘Recommended’ rating from leading research house, Zenith Investment Partners¹ in the Australian Shares - Large Companies sector. This sector is traditionally one of the most competitive in the investment landscape.

Zenith research showed that Third Link achieved its objective and outperformed the benchmark over the most recent five-year period. Third Link was also placed in the top quartile, ranking 15th overall, when ranked against 106 other funds over rolling five-year periods. The Fund has maintained volatility below that of the benchmark and median manager over all periods assessed, and despite the Fund's growth nature, has shown a greater consistency of outperformance in falling markets over the long term.

“Zenith believes the Fund is a compelling offering due to its access to highly rated fund managers. In addition, given the Fund's charitable aim, we believe it to be an appealing option for socially conscious investors,” said Zenith.
