Being A Caregiver for Jesus JOHN GLASS One of the things that a pastor does is visit people; that is a prime responsibility of my work as Pastor for Pastoral Care. There are
limitations, however. How do you ever get to everyone? I think the answer to that is you don’t. Here is where a member like you can be such a blessing to someone who is homebound, recovering in a hospital, or living in an adult care facility. You can multiply the number of people who are visited, that I just might not be able to reach for a while. My wife, Teresa, used to visit an older lady who had pretty much lost her memory. Read more
Renovate 2.0 Update #7 The Project: The elevator arrived this week! The installation process will take about two weeks with other final details. The state elevator inspection is expected to take another 2-3 weeks after that. The glass wall will be installed, and the project will be done!

Pray-ers Needed Each Sabbath morning at both services, people gather in “The Prayer Room” to pray for the church service, the participants, the congregants, and for the prayer requests submitted each week on the Connect Cards. We are in need of more volunteers for both services. You can set your own schedule—once a month, two months a year, whatever works best for you! District Nine Family Camp at Camp Au Sable Register now for an uplifting and spirit-filled weekend at Camp Au Sable. The annual District Nine Family Camp is Labor Day weekend, September 1-4, 2023.

Offering for July 22, 2023 Michigan Advance Partners The congregation in Big Rapids knew their church roof needed to be replaced but had no idea how to pay it. Short-term fixes had failed to correct the damaged area on the roof and the need to have it repaired had become urgent. Buckets had to be
placed in the hallway when it rained in order to catch the water coming in – and each time it rained, there was potential for further damage to walls and floors. Read More
