Control vine weevil larvae this season with Nemasys L We are hearing reports of high vine weevil larvae numbers due to the extended laying period in 2022, we recommend a treatment in the form of Nemasys L to take back control this growing season. In ornamental nurseries, vine weevils (Otiohrynchus sulcatus) are serious pests - adult vine weevils can arrive on site from any number of sources, including bought-in plants, and can establish a population. Once on site, their numbers can build rapidly over a year or two, and if left uncontrolled can cause considerable damage. Available in two pack sizes: If larvae are detected, it's necessary to apply a drench treatment of nematodes. Nemasys L is a curative treatment for use above 5oC soil temperature and when used correctly, can provide an excellent corrective treatment effect. Studies and experience have shown control levels of over 90% in many cases.
