Latest Funding NewsCloses Tomorrow: Movement for Good Awards - Larger GrantsMovement for good are offering longer-term funding for charities to bring ambitious new ideas to life and get larger life-changing projects off the ground. They're awarding grants of £10,000 and more, up to a total value of £500,000. They particularly want to hear from education and skills projects, initiatives which celebrate, preserve or protect heritage and culture, and climate change projects. Closes Tomorrow: Charitable Trust - Open Programme GrantsOpen Programme Grants fund work that promotes human dignity and defends the human rights of the most marginalised and excluded people. They are particularly interested in funding projects that support migrants and refugees. Grants are usually between £10,000 - £25,000 per year and are awarded from one to three years. Community Organisations Cost of Living Fund The government has launched the Community Organisations Cost of Living Fund (CCLF), which will be delivered by The National Lottery Community Fund (TNLCF). The £76 million package of funding aims to maintain and expand support for people and communities under severe pressure because of the increased cost of living, by distributing grants to critical frontline services seeing increased demand and increased delivery costs. Scops Art Trust GrantsScops Arts Trust are offering grants of up to £30,000 for projects supporting access to the arts. They generally fund registered charities, but will consider applications from social enterprises and community groups. Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) Grassroots FundThe Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime are offering two-year grants of up to £100,000 for organisations working to end Violence Against Women and Girls in marginalised communities. Lloyds Bank Foundation d/Deaf and Disabled People's Organisations Funding This programme is for small and local charities with an income between £25,000 to £500,000 which are led by and working with d/Deaf and Disabled people who are experiencing poverty. Organisations can apply for a three year unrestricted grant of £75,000. Deadline: 5pm, Thursday 31st August 2023 Training & EventsThis Saturday: Community Cricket Match In celebration of South Asian Heritage Month, Barnet Council are hosting a community cricket tournament this Sunday reflecting on the theme for the year: 'Stories to Tell'. While cricket is a sport that is enjoyed across all the countries, generations and people who live in South Asia and the diaspora. Cricket is a unifying factor in the fabric and narrative of these communities, so join us in spotlighting and celebrating these stories. Whenever an online shopper buys groceries, the supermarket will send your organisation either a flat monetary amount (up to £5) or a percentage of what the online shopper spends. On average, just one person could raise £97.50 in a year for your organisation; think what multiple people could do!
