Mauri ora! Ko te tūmanako e noho haumaru ana koutou katoa ahakoa ngā wero i whiua mai e Tāwhirimātea, ā, ka whai wāhi hoki koutou ki te whakanekeneke o koutou ake kaupapa. Mauri ora! Our thoughts are with those who have been affected by Cyclone Gabrielle this week. It is distressing to see the damage far and wide across the country. We are heartened to see the community response, especially those marae who have opened their doors to whānau who might need support. I also wish to acknowledge the iwi radio stations who have worked tirelessly to ensure communications continue in our most remote and cut off regions. We have heard reports that broadcasters at Radio Ngāti Porou and Moana FM have camped out at their stations and that others around the region have worked hard to provide accurate and timely information to the community. Our team at Te Māngai Pāho all remain safe and connected and are available if you need to get in touch.
