This past Sabbath afternoon I attended the memorial service for Bruce Wrenn. What impressed me the most was what our co-head elder, Bryan Von Dorpowski had to say about his friend, Bruce. He became noted as one of the very top specialists in marketing. As I listened I started comparing myself to Bruce. I kept asking myself, “What’s your excuse?” Thankfully my life isn’t over yet, so there is time for me to make a difference in my world, even as Bruce made a difference in his world.

We are pleased to announce the addition of Daniel Biaggi as the soon-to-be newest member of the Pioneer pastoral staff.  Pastor Biaggi will be serving in the newly created position of Associate Pastor for Witness and Worship, with a start date sometime this coming summer.

Music Camp at Pioneer!

July 13–19

The Institute of Young Musicians for Christ is excited to announce a music camp at Pioneer Memorial Church! This week-long camp is for ages 6-17, offering high-quality musical training coupled with fun activities and faith-building opportunities. We have two tracks: one for ages 6-12 (with options for varying experience levels) and another for experienced teenagers. For more information and registration, please visit the link below. Author Melvin Santos Speaking: While shopping at Lowe’s hardware store one day, I saw a bird trapped inside the store that probably had entered through the outdoor garden section. Its wing seemed broken, it could not fly, and was perhaps too weak from days of not being able to eat. If left alone this bird would die. I found a discarded box and went over to get the bird.
