Kelly Meighen announced as Chancellor

Kelly Meighen, BA’71, LLD’13, has been named the university’s 24th Chancellor. Through both the Meighen Family Foundation and her individual efforts, she has made a profound impact on youth mental health, the arts and non-profit governance in Canada. 

Team clocks Canada Day tornado winds at 275 km/hour

Researchers with the Northern Tornadoes Project have determined the tornado that sliced through Alberta on July 1 is among the most powerful ever recorded in Canada, with an EF4 rating.
