SYNOD WEBPAGE

Final delegate webinar

The final Synod-specific webinar for delegates will be held on 11 September. All members of the church are invited to watch the recordings of three delegate webinars – the first two of which were held on 14 and 28 August – once they are posted online. The first recording is available here.

Confirm your Synod attendance

Delegates: If you haven't yet confirmed your attendance for Synod, please do so TODAY. Delegates have been emailed a link to confirm their attendance.

If you cannot find your link, first ensure that your details as a General Synod delegate are in LAMP2. Next, check your inbox (including Junk or Spam folders) for your invitation to confirm your attendance, sent on or around 23 July 2024. If you are still unable to find it, please email synod@lca.org.au as soon as possible.

Visitors: If you are attending General Synod as a visitor, you also need to confirm your attendance and arrange accommodation if required. Go to www.lca.org.au/synod2024 for more details and to access the visitor confirmation of attendance link.

General Synod Book of Reports out soon

The Book of Reports is the essential guidebook for delegates attending the LCANZ's Convention of General Synod next month. It contains proposals that will come before Synod (including the Way Forward Detailed Framework proposal), reports from the Office of the Bishop and the boards and auxiliaries of the church, election information, and agenda and conduct of business documents. It will be available for download from the Synod website from Monday 9 September 2024. All members of the church may download the Book of Reports.

Are you able to volunteer?

If you are from Adelaide or are accompanying a delegate from interstate or country SA, please consider serving as a volunteer at Synod. Email synod@lca.org.au to request information about remaining volunteer opportunities.
