Parr Centre for Thriving: Call for May 1 proposals
Do you have an innovative idea with the potential to transform student mental health and thriving? The Parr Centre for Thriving is funding high-impact, innovative and collaborative project ideas from Western faculty and staff. Submit your proposal by May 1.

Registration open: Western community garden plots
The Western community garden is open for the 2024 growing season. Anyone from the campus community is welcome to apply for a plot, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Volunteers needed: Discovery Days in Health Sciences
In partnership with the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame, Western is hosting Discovery Days in Health Sciences on May 3 where high school students can explore careers in medicine and science. Volunteers are needed to help with registration or set-up. Lunch will be provided. Register online.

Measles cases are being reported in the news and by public health agencies, including the London Middlesex Health Unit. It's important to stay informed about the virus and understand the risks and preventative measures.
